Shadowrun is alive and kicking, this is good.
I emailed Wizkids and asked, equevalents to the Cannon Companion, Rigger 3, and Man and Machine are coming out all in one book called Arsenal and Augmentation, which is due out later this year. The means that there well be enough to run good old shadowrun campaigns in the brand new decade. I have a couple dancing through my brain currently, very lightly still as there are other things on my mind also that are stealing priority.
Shadowrun is sharing the dance floor with an old campaign idea that came to me when we first got the D20 Future book, a mecha crusade. I even have an engenious way of letting the chars start (potentially, not an absolute guarentee if rolls are very poor, or you don't want to be the mech's pilot) with a mecha. some interest has been shown in it, and the setting an encomapssing plot line is slowly forming.
Primarily my busy little brain is occupied with monday.... I have a job at a flight school as maintenance starting at 7:30 am. The hours are okay, 7:30-8 mon to friday with occasional overtime. They claim to have a large cessna parts dept, and all thier planes are little cessna singles (which is good, means replacing the part then fixing the old one, rather then have to fix the broken part before it's due to fly). Also, not being an air carrier might mean deadlines are less do or die, whioch would be great for me as a first year apprentice. Wage is to be discussed after the first day, hoping for enough that I'm happy =)
Shadowrun good.
Mecha good
Money and practice good.
All in all, in the words of the great GIR:
